Rosabeth Moss

Winning streaks require a culture of hard work, discipline and accountability, a culture in which people understand that they must constantly and actively improve on the previous way of doing things. It requires leadership from people who understand the importance of the human element, who understand that culture is an asset. Winning streaks end when people get lazy, complacent, arrogant, take success for granted and deny they have a problem which needs to be solved. A losing streak makes people fatalistic. They believe nothing will ever be different. Countries also get caught in that sort of mindset.
